All You Ever Wanted to Know About Insurance

Auto Insurance 101 tip collision coverage and how it works when you are or are NOT at fault

Collision coverage is a coverage that helps pay to make repairs to or help to replace your car if it is damaged in an accident with another vehicle or object such as a tree or fence. If you are at fault you collision coverage will always be the coverage that will pay for repairs.

IF you are NOT at fault in the accident and the other person does not have insurance, you will have to claim the repairs under YOUR collision coverage to get your car back to what it was. Yes, in this case, your deductible WILL apply even though you were not at fault. Call our agency if you need advise.
